We are very fortunate to have a supportive Parent Teacher Association who have worked alongside the school for many years, raising much needed funds.
Straidbilly Parent and Teacher Association aims to engage in activities and provide facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the pupil's education.
The PTA organised various events in 2022/23 including Big Breakfast, school disco and sponsored walk. These were well supported by the school community raising over £3,000. This enabled the PTA to support school trips throughout the year, purchase resources for the school such as books and outdoor play materials as well as for the Coronation celebrations, which was also supported through a Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council grant.
The PTA were also successful in securing funding through the Living Places and Spaces grant which provided the willowdome, raised beds and lots of gardening equipment and materials.
This year's events will include
- school disco
- fireside quiz
- school movie night
- sponsored walk
The PTA are conscious of the increasing financial pressures on family and school budgets so we appreciate your support in fundraising throughout the year.
